Here are a few things you can do to get your title out in front of people and reviewed:
Write or hire a copywriter to write you an awesome book blurb. Remember, this is your first chance to make a sale, so use keywords, reference similar authors, and do anything you can to get your book to show up as a search result. If you’re in the top five, you’ll get way more sales.
Start a TikTok author account and start talking about your book, about your life as a writer, or anything you like that’s book-related. A lot of readers use this app to find authors to follow, so make sure you show in their FYP.
Get on TikTok and use the hashtag #booktok to find book influencers. These are the people who get people bestselling titles. See if a book influencer will read and review you. I recommend reaching out to someone who’s still growing their following and enjoys your genre.
Make sure you have a KILLER cover. Hire an actual human with professional experience to design it and make it look outstanding. Don’t do a free one and DO NOT use AI. AI-generated content gets significantly fewer clicks. Invest in a good design.
